LEXINGTON, Ky. - We are a little more than a month away from football season and nothing gets the University of Kentucky football fans ready like Fan Day. This year's celebration is on Saturday, August 3.

The day kicks off with an autograph signing at Nutter Field House at 9 a.m. Every UK player and coach, including head coach Mark Stoops, will be on hand for autographs. After the autograph session, fans will be treated to open practice at 11 a.m. at the Joe Craft Training Facility.

In case of bad weather, the autograph session will still take place but information about the open practice session will be announced that morning.

Fan Day is open to the public and admission is free. Free parking will be available at the blue, green and red lots surrounding Kroger Field.

Fans will also be able to grab up the new Wildcat schedule posters for 2019 and if interested the ticket office will be open to discuss ticket sales.

Fan Day takes place the day after the opening of fall camp, the official start of the 2019 season. The Cats are coming off their most successful season in forty years: a 10-3 season that was topped with a VRBO Citrus Bowl championship. UK hopes to build on that success behind returning players such as quarterback Terry Wilson, linebacker Kash Daniel, and wide receiver Lynn Bowden, Jr.
