House Bill 158, sponsored by Representative David Meade, was signed today by Governor Matt Bevin in a ceremony in Frankfort. The bill does several things including allowing youth in foster care to have certain rights spelled out. Among those rights would be the right to adequate food, clothing and shelter. A safe, secure and stable family, and freedom from physical, emotional or sexual abuse. It also moves Kentucky a step closer to aligning with the Federal Families First Act
