LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Hamilton is one of the most highly anticipated shows to come to the Kentucky Center in recent memory.  Before you head downtown here are some things you need to make sure you pay attention to before leaving the house.

  • Show runs June 4 through June 23
  • There is a 13 minute seating hold - If you arrive late to the show, you may be kept out at the top of the first act until there is an appropriate spot for seating to take place. This seating hold will also take place at the start of the second half of the show.
  • Leave Early - There is extensive construction in and around the Kentucky Center, plan accordingly.  
  • Extra Security - All bags will be checked and you will be wanded upon entering the Center. You will not be allowed to bring the following:

                    -Firearms-open carry or concealed
                    -Weapons or any implement that could be used as a weapon
                    -Illegal drugs  or paraphernalia
                    -Audio or Visual recording devices
                    -Cameras (professional/detachable lenses)
                    -Glass
                    -Laser pointers
                    -Selfie sticks
                    -Large bags (larger than 14”x14”x6”)
                    -Backpacks of any kind, including drawstring
                    -Outside food or drink

  • Show Length - The approximate runtime of the show is 2 hours and 55 minutes with one intermission.

Hamilton tells the story of Alexander Hamilton, one of America's founding fathers, who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and served as the first Treasury Secretary of the new nation,
