LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Progress is being made on the new stadium for the Louisville City Football Club.  The 11,300-seat stadium is the newest attraction being built in the city and sits in the 35-acre Butchertown Development District.

The club is following the progress of the new stadium with a series of time-lapse videos and they are giving the media a full walking tour Thursday. LouCIty President, Brad Estes said in December, 2018 "“Our new stadium is a real sign of progress both for this club and the community at large. For the first time, we will benefit from all the revenue streams associated with professional soccer, which means sustainability for our business model long into the future."

The new stadium will be completed in time for the 2020 season.

Louisville City FC launched in 2014 and won back to back USL Cups in 2017 and 2018, the first in the USL modern era.
