LEXINGTON, Ky --- Keeneland racetrack made a major announcement Wednesday morning that didn't involve horses.

Keeneland is partnering with AC Entertainment to host an event dedicated to music, art and bourbon.

The event is called the Railbird Festival and will take place on August 10-11, 2019 on the grounds of the facility.

Each year, AC entertainment produces a number of high-profile music festivals including Bonnaroo, Forecastle and several others.

Event organizers say this year's Railbird Festival will have musical acts that include a mix of rock, americana, folk and bluegrass genres.

The 2019 artist lineup is scheduled to be released on March 25th.

Tickets will go on-sale to the gereral public in the coming weeks.
