Spectrum News 1 spoke to experts at Our Lady of Peace and KentuckyOne Health in Lexington about the risks.

They say less daylight, social isolation, and holiday stress can contribute to seasonal affective disorder. They recommend 30 minutes of exercise and a balanced diet to help battle those holiday blues.

Staff memebers at Our Lady of Peace said depression does not discriminate and affects those of all ages.
