State Representative George A. Brown, Jr. (D-77) says "I am most proud of establishing a reputation as being a thoughtful, insightful, committed representative for the people that I serve." 

He went on to highlight some of the community groups in his district that are doing amazing work, such as the Urban League and Moms Demand Action.

Brown grew emotional talking about his personal hero: "My mother was my leader, my guide. She never got to see me do this. She always knew, and understand, and laid out the course for me that I would not follow someone else's path, that I would blaze a path."
