State Rep. Nina Kulkarni (D-40) wants to make sure that the "prevailing wage is reinstated" to strengthen labor unions, as well as to "restrict strategic lawsuits against public participation," which she believes "evens the playing for individuals who are trying to sue either large corporations or very wealthy individuals." 

In addition to her legislative priorities, Kulkarni loves learning about the district she represents, and other Kentucky House districts.

"Hard-working," "no-nonsense," and "dynamic" are the three words Kulkarni would use to describe District 40.
