KENTUCKY — Election day is just around the corner here in the Bluegrass state.

On this week’s In Focus Kentucky program, we continue with our “Candidate Conversations” programs, helping you put a face to the names you will see on this year’s General Election ballot.

Kentucky Attorney General and Republican nominee for Governor, Daniel Cameron, announced back in mid-July, Robby Mills as his choice for Lieutenant Governor.

The Cameron-Mills campaign did not respond to our multiple requests for an interview with the Lieutenant Governor candidate. But during this segment, Mills speaks at the Fancy Farm political picnic and fundraiser about the Cameron-Mills ticket.

Mills is from the city of Henderson and has been serving in the Kentucky state Senate, representing the 4th district since 2019. Before that, Mills also served in the Kentucky House of Representatives from the 11th district from 2017 to 2018, and as a City Commissioner in Henderson from 1998 to 2016.

If elected as Lieutenant Governor, Mills would be the only constitutional officer who lives west of Interstate 65 in the western part of the state.

Mills is the husband to Vickie and father to Caleb (Hannah), Chelsea, and Noah and grandparents to Halle and lives in Henderson.
