KENTUCKY — In addition to the political appearances, the Fancy Farm political picnic offers traditional fair activities such as bingo games and raffle prizes.
The food includes lots of BBQ, a Knights of Columbus fish fry on Friday night, along with homemade baked goods from locals in Graves County.
The event was recognized in the 1985 Guinness Book of World Records as the "World's Largest Picnic" for the consumption of 15,000 pounds of mutton, pork and chicken at the 1982 picnic.
Spectrum News 1 political reporter Joe Ragusa was on-site for this year’s Fancy Farm and he joins In Focus Kentucky host Mario Anderson during this segment.
