KENTUCKY — During this In Focus KY segment, Dr. Jason Glass discusses his new role as Kentucky’s chief state school officer. 

Glass was hired on July 10th, 2020 to serve as Kentucky’s next education commissioner. He previously had been serving as superintendent and chief learner for Jeffco Public Schools in the metro Denver area since 2017.

Glass also shares what he's hearing from stakeholders within the Kentucky Board of Education about how to movie forward with safely reopening Kentucky public schools to in-person learning later this month.
