On this week's In Focus Kentucky episode - we are breaking down House Bill 137, which is Kentucky’s proposed sports betting bill.
If signed into law, the bill is projected to generate about $22.5 million dollars a year in revenue.
It already passed the House Licensing, Occupations and Administrative Regulations Committee on an 18-0 vote on January 15, but has yet to be called for a vote in the full House.
The bill’s primary sponsor is State Representative Adam Koenig and he joins the program to explain why believes Kentucky needs to get this bill passed and signed into law.
