FRANKFORT- The second quarter reports show Andy Beshear and Rocky Adkins have been busy fundraising.

Rocky Adkin's campaign reports the House Minority Leader has raised $621,567 since announcing his candidacy. That's in under two months.

"We’re honored and humbled to have strong support across Kentucky,” Adkins said in a release. “The outcome of our fundraising effort demonstrates the strength of this campaign.”

But--Andy Beshear has also raised a significant amount of money in the second quarter, his campaign reports he's raised $470,828.

That number brings his total fundraised since announcing in August to a little more than $1.16 million. That includes a $20,000 loan from Beshear and $24,184 of in-kind-contributions, leaving his campaign with $850,000 cash-on-hand.

Beshear says thats from 1,750 donors throughout the state.

“Kentuckians all across the state support our vision of ensuring that every family can secure good-paying jobs, affordable healthcare, and quality public education, while we bring real solutions to the drug epidemic,” Beshear said in a release. “Kentuckians are ready for a new generation of leadership in Frankfort. I am a proven fighter with a record of getting results."

Since former State Auditor Adam Edelen filed on Friday--he does not have second quarter reports available. Edelen has he will not take any PAC money during his campaign.
