NATIONWIDE - One of the biggest fears of parents with autistic kids is they will wander away. Now those families can find some peace of mind with the help of a kit.

The National Autism Association offers what is called the Big Red Safety Box which is free of charge for autism families. The kit has an alert wristband, shoe ID tag and wireless door and window alarms. It helps not only with prevention but education as well.

The Big Red Safety Box gives parents of non-verbal children with autism a way to not have to worry so much about their child. Over the last five years, the National Autism Association has shipped over 40,000 Big Red Safety Boxes.
