Louisville, Ky. — A holiday classic is coming to the KFC Yum! Center and you and your family can enjoy the fun for free.
The Yum! Center and Norton Children's are showing the movie Home Alone, Friday, Dec. 3 on its new massive digital screen. Those coming to the arena will also get the chance to enjoy holiday-themed bounce houses, pictures with Santa, giveaways and other entertainment.
"We are excited to partner with our friends at the KFC Yum! Center to create what we hope will be a new holiday tradition for the children and families of our community,” said Jennifer Evans, M.D., System Vice President Pediatric Services, Norton Healthcare.
The KFC Yum! Center Holiday Movie Night is open to all ages and tickets will not be required to attend. However, guests are encouraged to register for their free ticket to reserve a spot. Doors and activities open at 6 p.m. and the movie starts at 7 p.m.
“We are excited to bring the holiday spirit to downtown Louisville as we invite the community out to enjoy a fun, free holiday event at the arena,” said KFC Yum! Center General Manager Eric Granger.
Concession stands will be open serving popcorn and other treats. No outside food will be allowed into the arena. Guests are also being asked to help bring some holiday cheer to Norton Children's patients by donating a new toy to the Norton Children's Toy Drive which will be set up in the arena's lobby.
The KFC Yum! Center follows local and state guidelines regarding COVID-19 safety precautions. There are extra hand sanitizer stations, mask recommendations, cashless concession sales and plexiglass barriers.
