FRANKFORT, Ky. — Beyonce', one of the most powerful women in music, is speaking up for Breonna Taylor.  The music mogul penned an open letter to Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron (R) Sunday.

The letter which appeared on the celebrity's website, wants the three officers involved in the shooting at Taylor's apartment to be criminally charged.  She writes, "With every death of a Black person at the hands of the police, there are two real tragedies: the death itself and the inaction and delays that follow it. This is your chance to end that pattern."

Cameron was named as a Special Prosecutor in the Taylor investigation in May. After the completion of the investigation, Cameron's office will review the evidence and take appropriate action.

Taylor was shot and killed in her home by Louisville Metro Police on March 13 when they were serving a search warrant for a drug investigation.

Taylor’s mother, Tamika Palmer, has filed a lawsuit against LMPD for wrongful death among other things

Last week, Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer (D) signed "Breonna's Law," a law banning no-knock search warrants like the one used the niight Taylor died.  The law calls for all law enforcement officers to wear and activate body cameras and to wait atleast 15 seconds for a response when serving a warrant.

Beyonce' asked fans to sign two petitions for Taylor. One with JusticeForBre and another with Stand with Bre.
