LOUISVILLE, Ky.  — Rep. Attica Scott (D-41) announced that she has tested positive for coronavirus. She made the announcement via Twitter Sunday evening.

Scott said she took a COVID-19 test last week and received her results Sunday. In her announcement, Scott said she would be self-quarantining for the next 14 days until she gets tested again. 

"I want to thank the healthcare workers who are testing folks daily, providing contact tracing, just taking care of us," Scott said in the video posted to Twitter. 

She urged people to wear their masks properly, wash their hands, and social distance.
