LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Kentucky's first coronavirus case was confirmed on March 6 and since that day businesses have closed, laid-off workers, or are working with skeleton crews.  But a number of companies in the commonwealth want and need workers now.

DOLLAR GENERAL

Dollar General plans to hire 50,000 new employees by the end of April. While many of the new jobs will be temporary, some of the jobs are expected to become permanent, the company said. To apply, click here

KROGER

Grocery chain Kroger is looking to hire 20,000 to keep it stores stocked and operating during coronavirus. The company has streamlined its hiring process and new workers can be onboard in 72 hours. To apply go to jobs.kroger.com

PIZZA HUT
