LEXINGTON, Ky. - With hand sanitizer being hard to find in stores, the Lexington Brewing and Distilling Company is using their alcohol supply to help produce and distribute hand sanitizer free of charge.

The brewery normally makes beers and bourbon.

The company will continue to produce sanitzier and distribute it every week to organizations who need it.

Lexington Brewing and Distilling Company is working with the City of Lexington to identify those organizations in need.

“It is our way of giving back and at a time of need, and it's just good for everybody.” Master Distiller at Town Branch Distillery, Mark Coffman said.

The first batch was delivered to city hall in Lexington on Friday and they will have additional batches prepared and ready for delivery early next week.

Organizations in need of hand sanitizer can email KentuckyAle@alltech.com to submit their request.
