A 31-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run on Clinton Avenue near North Swan Street in Albany on Wednesday night, according to city police.

Tanisha Brathwaite of Albany died in the fatal pedestrian crash, police said on Thursday.

Police were searching for a suspect who fled the scene in a vehicle.
