Red Flag Warnings continue in western parts of the Carolinas, northern Georgia and the Mid-Atlantic.

A Flood Watch is in effect for southern Texas where heavy rainfall is likely.

Wind Alerts are in effect across western Nevada and northern California.

 

 

High Temperatures Today

Another very warm day across most of the country. Highs will run 15-20 degrees above average from the Plains to the West. Meanwhile, cooler than average weather is expected for the Great Lakes and Northeast.

 

 

Low Temperatures Tonight

Overall, a mild night for the western 2/3rd of the country with lows 10-15 above average. Another cool night is expected from the Mid-Atlantic to the Northeast.

 

Precipitation Outlook

A departing system will continue to bring snow and rain to the Northeast. 

Strong to severe storms are likely from the Pacific Northwest to northern California. Large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes will be possible in Oregon and Washington.

A wet pattern will bring very heavy rain to southern Texas. Over a half foot of rain will be possible allowing for the threat of flash flooding through Thursday.
