EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Ventura County is urging people to stay indoors as the Mountain Fire blankets the area in smoke and ash.
The wildfire is causing dangerous air quality conditions in the county, and Santa Ana winds are carrying polluted air across the region.
Dr. Rima Habre, associate professor of Environmental Health and Spatial Sciences at USC, joined Spectrum News’ Kate Cagle on “Your Afternoon” to explain the risks of wildfire smoke.
