The so-called Park Fire is the largest wildfire in California so far this year. It was one of more than 100 blazes burning in the U.S. last weekend, according to the National Interagency Fire Center.

The Park Fire is burning an area greater than the city of Los Angeles, covering over 350,000 acres as of Monday, July 29. According to authorities, the Park Fire began after a man pushed a burning car into a gully in Chico and fled.
