Working-class families, seniors and community college students alike will soon have a new, and reputedly more efficient, way of traveling through the East San Fernando Valley.

Metro’s latest expansion effort, called the East San Fernando Valley Light Rail Transit Project, is set to debut by 2030 — better serving the Pacoima, Arleta, Panorama City and Van Nuys neighborhoods.
