LOS ANGELES — On the last day of his trip to Los Angeles, Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg visited the Crenshaw district.
He began at a ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly opened “K” line alongside Representative Karen Bass and Mayor Eric Garcetti.
Later, they made their way over to Destination Crenshaw — a development project that will be a public art project, park and community space highlighting Black culture and history in Crenshaw.
Buttigieg spoke with the President of Destination Crenshaw and the development team.
