LOS ANGELES (CNS) — A water main break prompted the closure of southbound Sepulveda Boulevard overnight near Los Angeles International Airport, a closure expected to continue through much of Monday, authorities said Monday.
The problem was reported about 8:20 p.m. Sunday at Century Boulevard, and Los Angeles Department of Water and Power crews were sent to the scene, according to officials at LAX.
Authorities advised motorists heading to LAX to allow extra time and to use Century Boulevard as an alternate route.
