KISSIMMEE, Fla. — The Osceola Magic will host the Maine Celtics at 7 p.m. Sunday in the NBA G League Eastern Conference final at Silver Spurs Arena.

The competition remains single-elimination until the championship round. Osceola went 2-0 against Maine during the regular season.

Osceola, the top-seeded team in the conference for the second year in a row, defeated the Indiana Mad Ants 129-114 in the East semifinal on Thursday night, also in Kissimmee. Maine defeated Westchester 124-118.

Mac McClung, who is a two-way player with the NBA's Orlando Magic and the three-time NBA All-Star dunk champion, scored 39 points, dished out six assists and grabbed four rebounds.

In all, six Osceola players scored in double figures on Thursday night. Ethan Thompson scored 29 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and got off to a hot start for Osceola. Javonte Smart and Myron Gardner each scored 14, and Jalen Slawson and Jarrett Culver added 12 points apiece.

“It’s super exciting. Winning in the playoffs is the most important thing at any level of basketball. We’re just really excited," coach Dylan Murphy told the G League's website. "The crowd was great tonight. When the game started to lull and we hit a big shot, the crowd was into it. I'm just really happy for our guys, for the community. But we’re not done yet and just trying to keep going.” 

Quenton Jackson was the leading scorer for the Mad Ants with 33 points, and RayJ Dennis had 19 points and 10 assists.
