LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Rams running backs along with wide receiver Puka Nacua wore special cleats Sunday in their win over the Buffalo Bills. It was all part of the NFL's My Clause, My Cleats initiative. The running backs were supporting the AxeALS foundation in the fight against ALS.
They participated to support running back coach Ron Gould, who is standing with Eric Stevens, diagnosed with the disease. He is now confined to a wheelchair. Gould is pushing hard to stand by Stevens, as he coached him from 2008 to 2012 at Cal. The coach says Stevens is like a son to him and is urging fans to donate to the cause.
