LOS ANGELES — Nike held the second annual Mamba League Invitational on Friday and Saturday at LA Live.

The event was held on those dates to celebrate the late Kobe Bryant's birthday, Aug. 23, while Aug. 24 commemorates his iconic Lakers jersey numbers. Vanessa Bryant was on hand Saturday to present the championship and MVP awards.

The next generation of basketball stars participated, including Bryce James, LeBron James' youngest son. Some members of the Junior Mambas, who were once coached by Kobe Bryant, also took part in the action.
