OCEANSIDE, Calif. — A new report from the Surf Industry Members Association found that the lineup of surfers has become much more diverse in the past few years.

According to the survey-based study, Black surfers represent the fastest-growing group of surfers in the ocean. 

Surfer Maizy Gordon and her sister Veronica hope to inspire more people of all backgrounds to get into the ocean and that it welcomes everyone.
