PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. — As the main benefactor of the Genesis Invitational, the TGR Foundation extends a lifeline to local students from underserved communities, utilizing a holistic education at TGR Learning Lab in Orange County.

The son of an immigrant, Diego Ponce, has always harbored ambitions of a journalism career. This dream seemed out of reach until the TGR Foundation intervened, instilling in him the confidence and skills to pursue his aspirations.

At this week’s Genesis Invitational, Ponce received what he called a dream opportunity: a comprehensive job shadowing experience with the Golf Channel and the chance to ask host Tiger Woods a question during his press conference.
