EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Los Angeles Lakers stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis recently spoke about Frank Vogel, who was fired by the team Monday following a disappointing season.

"He's a guy who gives everything to the game," said James. "[He] prepared us every single night, along with his coaching staff as well. I give those guys a lot of gratitude."

"He knows what he's doing," said Davis. "He goes to war for his players, and he wants to win."
