LOS ANGELES — That downed tree in your Los Angeles neighborhood? It has a chance at a second life.

Woodworker Julie Jackson uses reclaimed wood and slabs from locally downed trees to create lamps, vases and other home goods.

In 2019, Jackson introduced her river rock lamp online and it took off. She has a hard time keeping the eco-friendly piece in stock.
