LOS ANGELES — For those affected by the wildfires, here is a list of shelters where to go and newly announced recovery centers where help will be offered.

Evacuation centers

Palisades Fire

  • El Camino Real Charter High School at 5440 Valley Circle Blvd.
  • Agoura Animal Care Center at 29525 Agoura Road 
  • LA Equestrian Center at 480 Riverside Drive — Open for evacuation of large animals.
  • Westwood Recreation Center at 1350 South Sepulveda Blvd. — Open for evacuees and accepts small animals. It is also serving as a shelter, allowing residents to remain overnight.

Hurst Fire

  • Ritchie Valens Recreation Center at 10736 Laurel Canyon Blvd. — Open for evacuation of large animals.
  • Northridge Park at 10120 Reseda Blvd.
  • Sepulveda Recreation Center at 8825 Kester Ave.

Eaton Fire

  • Pasadena Convention Center at 300 Eat Green St.
  • El Camino Real Charter High School at 5440 Valley Circle
  • Pomona Fairplex at 1101 W. McKinley Ave.
  • Arcadia Community Center at 374 Campus Drive
  • Westwood Recreation Center at 1350 S. Sepulveda Blvd.

People seeking shelter are advised to call ahead to confirm availability in other centers around the county.

Recovery centers

A pair of Disaster Recovery Centers will open Tuesday, offering resources for LA County residents affected by the fires.

On the Westside, a center will be located at the UCLA Research Park — formerly the Westside Pavilion in West Los Angeles at 10850 W. Pico Blvd. To the east, another center will open at the Pasadena City College Community Education Center, 3035 E. Foothill Blvd.

The centers will be open from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, but starting Wednesday, they will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Services will be available to people who have lost records, including birth certificates, death certificates, driver's licenses and social security cards. People who have lost their homes or businesses can apply for disaster relief loans.

Mental health counseling and other services will also be available.
