MONTEREY PARK, Calif. — Sunday will mark one year since a gunman opened fire inside a beloved dance studio in Monterey Park, killing eleven people, wounding nine others and rocking a community to its core.
Survivors of the shooting are speaking out, including Shally Ung, who lost her dance partner of 15 years in the massacre.
Ung, who found comfort in seeking therapy, is urging other survivors to take advantage of the free mental health services provided to her community.
