EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — The National Action Network is one of the leading civil rights organization in the nation, fighting for justice and equal opportunities for all people.

And on Thursday, NAN's founder — renowned civil rights activist Rev. Al Sharpton — is celebrating his 70th birthday with a star-studded event at the Fairmont Century Plaza.

The event supports the organization’s non-partisan Get Out the Vote campaign ahead of the 2024 election.

Sharpton joined “Your Morning” to share more about the event.
