EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — An alarming admission from presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. while going after President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump for memory loss and being too old, he has confirmed a parasitic worm entered his brain and ate away some of his memory and cognitive ability.

While this story is a bit unusual, RFK Jr. is far from alone. More than a billion people have parasitic worms, a global health problem rarely discussed but impacting many.
