EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — The documentary "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV" peels back the curtain of Nickelodeon shows in the 1990s and 2000s, exposing an alleged toxic work environment created by executive producer Dan Schneider.
The docuseries has sparked a conversation not only about accountability for the toxic workplace cultures of the past, but also about how we can prevent future abuses in children’s entertainment.
Business Insider senior correspondent Kate Taylor, whose exposé on Schneider inspired the series, joined “Your Morning” to discuss.
