EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — A federal program funding childcare centers across the country will expire Sept. 30.

This is happening at the very same time we are seeing child poverty rates double. Republicans blame the economy, Democrats blame Sen. Joe Manchin for killing the child tax credit in Biden’s “Build Back Better Plan.”
