DES MOINES, Iowa — The University of Southern California launched a new political program to help educate students on the importance of the presidential season, called the Iowa Project.
It’s a unique opportunity for students, like with Tavis Cote and Honor Hayball, to find internships and fly to the Iowa Caucus.
This is USC’s first year for the project.
The Iowa Caucus ended with an unprecedented outcome, leaving caucus-goers, candidates, and Americans in shock. Technological failures of a cell phone application have Iowa Democrats recounting all paper ballots to finalize results.
As of Wednesday evening, there were 86 percent of the precincts reported.
