SANTA MONICA, Calif. - Three parties in 24 hours…  but it’s not all fun and games. Attorney Julie Milligan is on a mission to find just the right candidate.

She’s spending plenty of money so she could spend plenty of money and getting ready for these fundraisers is no small affair.

"I’ve narrowed it down to two grey suits because it’s spring,” Milligan told Spectrum News 1.

She’s looking to meet as many candidates as possible. This round included Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand and New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker… all in the span of a day.

“If I have an opportunity to see somebody at this early stage and I can go without it being too expensive, it’s really worthwhile,” she said.

She likes plenty of candidates. But her vote and money will go to the one who can beat Trump.

"Every one of these candidates is better than what we are right now,” she added.

She’s got plenty of drive, a good thing because to be this invested, you have to put in a lot of miles on your car to get from Santa Monica to Bel Air, where all these parties are happening.

But even though she’s been to more than a dozen fundraisers this cycle alone, she hasn’t lost her sense of adventure.

Like many other political donors in Los Angeles, she says she feels a sense of civic responsibility to make the right choice.

"Assuming that one of these candidates wins and we and they have a team of people  in there for eight years, this country can be amazing,” she said.

She hopes to caucus next with Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet, as she continues her campaign to personally meet as many Democratic candidates as she can.
