COLUMBUS, Ohio — After missing 11 games due to an upper body injury, the Columbus Blue Jackets are activating Cole Sillinger off the injured reserve, the team announced in a press release.
The 21-year-old forward and Columbus-native was injured on Feb. 27 against Detroit. So far this season, he’s scored nine goals and had 20 assists.
The Blue Jackets play the Vancouver Canucks at 7 p.m. Friday night at Nationwide Arena.
Blue Jackets host Nashville on Tuesday.
This was their eighth-ever three-goal comeback win, and second this season.
Columbus has only scored 10 goals during its last seven games while getting shut out three times
The Penguins are 22-3-4 in their last 28 games against Columbus.
It's Columbus' eighth loss against Panthers since 2022.
Columbus has lost four straight to fall out of the second wild card in Eastern Conference.
