JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. — A vegetation fire in Jurupa Valley burned approximately 30 acres Tuesday evening and was 80% contained.
The Soto Fire was reported around 7:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 4600 block of Soto Street, near and Sedona Drive, Cal Fire reported.
“Crews are making progress and establishing control lines and will remain on scene overnight,” according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
All evacuation warnings were lifted shortly after 10 a.m. Wednesday, the department reported.
A reception and care center for evacuees due to the fire was set up at Patriot High School, the Riverside County Emergency Management Department announced.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to Cal Fire.
No firefighter injuries have been reported.
