- “Luck” tells the story of 18-year-old Sam, voiced by Eva Noblezada, who discovers the flip side of bad luck when she falls into the magical Land of Luck. Simon Pegg, Flula Borg, Colin O’Donoghue, John Ratzenberger, Lil Rel Howery and Adelynn Spoon also lend their voices to the children’s animated comedy.
- Two-time Academy Award-winner Jane Fonda voices The Dragon, CEO of the luck-making operation in the Land of Luck. The legendary actor is also a producer, author, activist and fitness guru. Her career has spanned over 50 years, accumulating a body of film work that includes over 45 films and crucial work on behalf of political causes such as women’s rights, Native Americans, and the environment.
- Earlier this year, Fonda launched the Jane Fonda Climate PAC, focused on defeating political allies of the fossil fuel industry. Her latest book, “What Can I Do?: My Path from Climate Despair to Action,” details her personal journey with the movement and provides solutions for communities to combat the climate crisis. Jane also notably celebrated her 80th birthday by raising $1 million for each of her nonprofits, Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power & Potential and The Women’s Media Center.
- In “Luck,” Whoopi Goldberg is the no-nonsense Captain of the Land of Luck. Goldberg is one of an elite group of artists who have won the Grammy, the Academy Award, the Golden Globe, the Emmy and a Tony. She is also a prolific producer, entrepreneur and is well known around the world for her many humanitarian endeavors. Whoopi appeared in the 2020 adaptation of Stephen King’s best-selling novel, “The Stand,” and has recurring roles on Amazon’s, “Harlem,” and the EPIX series, “Godfather of Harlem.” She reprised her iconic role of Guinan in season two of the Paramount+ series, “Star Trek: Picard.” She appears in and produces the upcoming feature film, “Till,” for MGM’s Orion Pictures and the highly anticipated Amazon Prime Video series based on Neil Gaiman’s “Anansi Boys.”
