EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — It was an 18-year run as guitarist and band leader for Jay Leno’s Tonight Show Band that brought Kevin Eubanks to a mainstream audience, but the guitar great has been a bright light in the jazz-fusion world before, and since.
In this pandemic, we need all the light we can get, which is why Eubanks plans to play this Saturday in an all-star freely streaming concert to benefit the L.A. Emergency COVID-19 Crisis Fund. It will feature everyone from Smokey Robinson to Carole King.
