On July 1 Angels starting pitcher, Tyler Skaggs was found dead in his room at the team's hotel in Texas.

Two months later an autopsy revealed the 27-year-old died from an accidental drug overdose.

High levels of opioids, including fentanyl and oxycodone were found in his system as well as alcohol, according to the toxicology results.
