Hailing from California's 69th District, State Assemblymember Josh Lowenthal was inspired to run for office because he comes from a family of public servants. The biggest lesson he's learned during his time in office is that compromise is necessary when making decisions and implementing policies.
One thing Lowenthal would say his district does better than anywhere else is harmonize--all the communities in his district are supportive of each other. His top priority for the rest of his term is to regulate social media to help minimize the negative impact on consumers' mental health.
Lowenthal would take an out-of-town visitor to the Queen Mary, a historical landmark in Long Beach. If he could visit anywhere in the world, he would go to Croatia.
