Evan Low is the Assemblymember for California's 26th District. His favorite thing about being a public official is the opportunity to help the most vulnerable in his community. He does this by championing affordable housing, an often unspoken topic in Silicon Valley.

One thing Low has learned from being an assemblymember is the importance of trade-offs and making hard decisions, such as choosing between balancing budgets and meeting individuals' differing needs.

Low would take an out-of-town visitor to Apple Park in Cupertino. If he could have lunch with any elected official, it would be the late Norman Mineta, a politician and trailblazer in the Asian American community.
