Alex Cohen asked Char Miller, Professor of Environmental Analysis and History at Pomona College, to grade California Governor Gavin Newsom based on how he has dealt with the most recent wildfires.

Miller said Newsom is not forward looking but reactive.

Instead of committing funding to logging, Miller said it should go to educating those that live in forested communities on “how to live carefully and move safely in these landscapes.”
