According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, six out of 10 adults in the U.S. have at least one chronic disease, such as diabetes.

Health experts say nutrition can help prevent some of those conditions.

Community gardens and farms have been helping to bring healthier options to communities.

However, an urban farm in Santa Ana called La Granjita that has been growing organic produce for eight years and teaching the community about sustainable agriculture and other farming-related things have been forced to move out.

Both the co-op that now runs for the farm, SALSA, and the organization that initially started the farm in 2016 and now runs community programs, CRECE, have found spaces to relocate.

CRECE says its space in Orange is a temporary solution as it works to raise funds to acquire land and a permanent place to locate.
